Mother's Day Social 2010 On Tuesday, April 27th, 35 mothers and mothers-to-be were honored at Southwestern AHEC's 4th annual Mother's Day Socials. After being welcomed by Bill Quinn, Bridgeport's Interim Health Director, attendees learned about the importance of early oral health/dental care and immunzations for their babies and young children, and played "CIRTS BINGO" to learn about the State of CT's vaccine registry. Their pre-schoolers enjoyed coloring and stories, and all women and children left with health information, giveaways and a special Mother's Day flower. 35 photos |

Project Green Sweep The Stratford High School Volunteer Club partnered with the Stratford Town Beautification Committee in an effort to clean up the towns parks, beaches and river ways! Waste was separated into general waste and tobacco-related waste for the Club's anti-smoking campaign. 25 photos |
